VERISURE Bowie-Dick Test package - EU (20 pcs.)

The Bowie-Dick test pack was developed to test for air leaks, inadequate air removal and steam permeability in vacuum-assisted steam sterilisers and should be used daily before starting the first load of the day, after a steriliser has been installed or moved, after a steriliser malfunction, after errors in the sterilisation process and after major repairs to the steriliser. Initially, a shortened cycle (i.e., a cycle without a drying phase after the vacuum) should be run to properly heat up the steriliser.After processing, the VERISURE™ Bowie-Dick Test Pack chemical indicator has a shelf life of 6 months under the recommended storage conditions.- Cycles: 3.5 min at 134 °C / 4 min at 132 °C / 16.9 min at 121 °C- Indicator type: Type 2- Classification: MDR CE marked, Class I- Conformity: ISO 11140-1 and ISO 11140-4 (steam penetration)

The VERISURE™ Steam Type 5 Ink Integrator is used to monitor steam sterilisation processes between 121 °C and 135 °C and ensures adequate control of the effectiveness of sterilisation processes. VERISURE Steam Type 5 Migrating integrator (250 pcs.)

Movable chemical integrator (migrator) for monitoring steam sterilisation processes between 118 °C and 138 °C. It consists of a paper wick and a steam- and temperature-sensitive chemical pellet contained in a paper/foil/film laminate. The chemical pellet melts and migrates as a dark streak along the paper wick. The migration is visible through an area marked 'ACCEPT’ or 'REJECT’, indicating whether the sterilisation conditions have been met. The extent of migration depends on steam quality, time and temperature. The 'ACCEPT’ result is achieved when a theoretical spore population has reached its kill time, indicating that the integration condition has been met.The integrator with extender helps to remove the indicator from bags/packaging and ensures better visibility in trays.After processing, the chemical indicator endpoint of the VERISURE™ Steam Type 5 Migrating Indicator / Process Challenge Device is stable and remains unchanged when stored under the recommended storage conditions for a period of 6 months.Classification: FDA and ISO 11140-1 Type 5, MDR CE marked Class I

VERISURE™ Steam Type 4 Multi-Variable Chemical Indicators are single-use chemical indicators consisting of single-sided laminated, die-cut double strips of paper printed with indicator ink. These indicators are designed to monitor steam sterilisation processes within batches and ensure sufficient exposure to the sterilising agent during the sterilisation process. An innovative, highly sensitive yellow ink has been developed that changes colour to dark brown/black when the indicator is exposed to steam, taking into account critical process variables, which provides additional quality assurance.
