BIOTRACE™ Auto Read 20 Steam BI (Biological Indicator)
- Monitors the effectiveness of steam sterilisation processes, displaying sterilisation results after 20 minutes of incubation at 60 ± 2 °C, minimising equipment throughput time and enabling efficient monitoring of sterilisation processes
- Designed for monitoring vacuum and gravity-assisted steam sterilisation cycles at 132 °C - 135 °C
- Features a Type 1 chemical process indicator (CI) on the label to distinguish between processed (brown) and unprocessed (pink) biological indicators
- Features a data matrix code on the vial label for improved traceability and is seamlessly compatible with BIOTRACE™ Auto Read BI readers
- Use with incubator: BIOTRACE™ Auto Read Pro BI reader (73400) / BIOTRACE™ Auto Read Mini BI reader (73410)
- Colour change: Growth medium - purple to yellow (positive result) / remains purple for negative result; Type 1 chemical process indicator (CI) on label, pink to brown Incubation temperature: 60 °C (140 °F) +/- 2 °C
