Product information "miro-silikon fixation plaster blue, 5 m x 2.5 cm (12 rolls)"
The miro-silikon roll plaster has a skin-friendly silicone adhesive that is particularly gentle on skin and hair. Unlike conventional plasters, the adhesive strength remains constant throughout the entire wearing period, enabling pain-free, residue-free removal and easy repositioning. The plaster can be torn off crosswise and lengthwise by hand and cut to size. Side protectors prevent contamination, and individually packaged short rolls reduce the risk of cross-contamination. It does not contain natural rubber latex and is therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers. The blue backing ensures good visibility and a dirt-repellent surface.
Areas of application:
- Fixation of dressings, catheters, probes or tubes on sensitive skin
- Use on patients with very sensitive, irritated or damaged skin: e.g. elderly people (age-related skin atrophy), premature and newborn babies, patients with skin damaged by corticosteroid or radiotherapy
- Suitable for patients at risk of allergies or sensitive to latex
- Frequent changes of position where the plaster needs to be removed and repositioned regularly without causing skin irritation
- Post-operative applications where atraumatic dressing fixation is important
