miro-castlonguette is an orthopaedic splint bandage which is used for partial or complete immobilization. It consists of a multi-layer glass fibre system coated with a polyurethane resin which is activated on contact with water. The glass fibre system is wrapped in a soft polypropylene fleece, which cushions the dressing and thus creates a high wearing comfort for the patient (the cushion can be opened and re-closed at the side for cutting and moistening). The bandage is breathable, ensuring an exchange of air and moisture. Fields of Application: partial or complete immobilization of fresh fractures, tendon injuries, distortions, capsule or ligament injuries as well as to support connective tissue or soft tissue injuries and fissure.
