i-gel® is a unique, latex- and PVC-free, second-generation supraglottic airway that is the result of years of research and development. i-gel® is made from a medical-grade thermoplastic elastomer and designed to create a non-inflatable, anatomical seal around the pharyngeal, laryngeal and perilaryngeal structures while avoiding compression trauma. The breathing aid is supplied in a fully disposable shape stabiliser or double shell. This unique packaging protects the i-gel during transport and ensures that it retains its anatomical shape.
