ASP™ Tyvek® Rolls with STERRAD™ Chemo Indicator are designed for wrapping medical devices to be terminally sterilised using STERRAD™ sterilisation systems and cycles in both single and double pouch configurations and to indicate by colour change whether the roll has been in contact with the sterilant. Once the sterilisation process is complete, the roll is used to maintain the sterility of the enclosed device until use. The rolls are printed with a chemo-indicator strip. This is a process indicator (ISO 11140-1:2014 [Type 1]) that changes colour from red to the colour indicated on the packaging (or lighter) when exposed to hydrogen peroxide vapour during reprocessing in the STERRAD™ sterilisation systems.
