Suprasorb® Liquacel Pro is a reinforced hydroactive wound dressing with a soft, supple non-woven fabric made of sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) and reinforcing cellulose fibres. Upon contact with wound exudate or blood, the absorbent wound dressing forms a gel that creates a moist wound environment. Lock-in technology binds cell debris and bacteria in the wound exudate to the fibre dressing, which are then removed when the dressing is changed. The high vertical exudate absorption in the fibre dressing protects the wound environment and the wound edges, thereby supporting the healing process.
For the treatment of acute and chronic wounds, whether they are weakly to strongly exuding, superficial or deep:
- Ulcer cruris
- Pressure ulcers (stage II to IV)
- Post-operative wounds
- Second-degree burns
- Traumatic wounds
- Exuding oncological wounds
- Product composition: 80% sodium carboxymethylcellulose fibres (CMC fibres), 20% lyocell fibres
- Can also be used on infected wounds and wounds at risk of infection
- Individually sealed
