The sterilisation bags are ready for immediate use. They are self-adhesive and have an open side for filling the bags with sterile items. After filling, this side is sealed with an adhesive strip that is resistant to hot air and steam. The bags are suitable for steam and/or ethylene oxide and consist of two layers:
- a layer of durable medical paper and tinted polyester/polypropylene plastic
In addition to its excellent sterilisation properties, the film is also very easy to peel. Three chemical indicators are printed on the paper side: steam, gas and chemical vapour, which indicate successful sterilisation in the form of colour changes.
