PROTECATH B/D™ is a sterile dressing set for protecting haemodialysis catheters. It includes a window dressing with non-adhesive film and a protective bag for the outer connectors. The bag can be adjusted to the respective connector length. The viewing window of the adhesive dressing allows regular assessment of the catheter exit site. The pouch dressing is suitable for permanent wear between dialysis treatments, even when showering and washing, which significantly reduces the risk of infection from dressing changes. The dressing and pouch are packaged separately and can be used individually.
