The 2-ply drape is individually packed in sterile packaging. It is used for the sterile demarcation of the operation field. The external layer consists of a wet-strengthened non-woven which is extremely absorbent and can rapidly absorb liquid. The inner layer is made of a very dense material which is impermeable to moisture, thus providing a reliable barrier protection.
