The NADAL® Nuclear Matrix Protein 22 Test is an in vitro immunoassay for the qualitative detection of nuclear mitotic apparatus protein (NuMA) in human urine samples. NuMA is a central component of nuclear matrix proteins, which are involved in the regulation of DNA replication, among other things. Due to its overexpression in urothelial tumour cells, NMP22 is considered a relevant biomarker for bladder cancer. This test provides only a preliminary result.
