The microscope slides have a frosted area on both sides at one end; the two frosted areas are resistant to all common chemicals and routine stains used in the laboratory. Recommended for labelling with the conventional labelling system and for labelling with pencils or marking pens, they make work considerably easier than with simply frosted slides, as they allow a more random way of working.
