Mepilex® Transfer Ag is a covering, drainable foam dressing with silver sulphate for the treatment of critically colonised and infected wounds that exude slightly to heavily. The exudate is channelled into the secondary dressing.
- rapid (30 min.) and long-lasting (up to 14 days) antimicrobial effect
- rapid absorption and transfer of exudate
- atraumatic and painless dressing changes
- Safetac® technology
Areas of application:
- slightly to very heavily exuding wounds
- infected wounds or wounds with a risk of infection
- burns up to grade 2a
- chronic wounds, e.g. diabetic foot ulcers, leg ulcers, pressure sores
- skin removal sites
Properties:
- no to heavy exudate. In case of heavy exudate, please use a secondary dressing
- Can be cut to size
- Very low allergy potential
- Secondary dressing required
