Product information "MED-GEL Gelling Agent (200 x 15 g)"
MED-GEL is a granulate made from cross-linked sodium polyacrylate. It solidifies suction fluids collected in operating theatres or intensive care units to ensure safe disposal. MED-Gel is also used in laboratories to solidify liquid waste. The single 15 g dose comes in a soluble sachet that can be easily inserted into a disposable suction system during a suction procedure. The sachet dissolves as soon as it comes into contact with fluids. The single 15 g dose gels up to 1 litre of fluid (depending on the composition of the fluid).
