Outstanding acoustics with improved perception of high-frequency tones (large
side, higher pressure). The Littmann® Dual Frequency Membrane technology
enables stethoscope users to vary the applied pressure on the chest piece to
control the membrane so that different frequency ranges can be heard. With
light pressure, low frequencies are favored; with somewhat higher pressure,
higher frequencies are heard. The pediatric side of the chest piece can be
converted to a traditional open bell by simply removing the Dual Frequency
Membrane and replacing it with the included cold protection ring. The
integrated dual-lumen tubing system combines two sound paths within a single
tube. This eliminates the disruptive rubbing noises of traditional dual-lumen
tubing. Durable and dirt-repellent tubing material free of natural rubber latex
and plasticizers. Optimal fit and wearing comfort through individually
