The Introcan Safety® 3 is a safety venous catheter with an integrated membrane to reduce blood leakage.
- Passive safety mechanism: Prevents needlestick injuries without user activity
- Stabilisation platform: Increases catheter stability and facilitates fixation
- integrated septum with multiple function: controllable blood leakage - from insertion to removal of the access port
- Rapid blood return in the catheter for confirmation of successful puncture
- Catheter material: polyurethane (PUR) and FEP (G20, e.g. for arterial pressure measurement)
- Suitable for high-pressure injections up to 325 psi (14 to 24 G catheters)
- not manufactured with latex, PVC and DEHP
