The Introcan Safety® 3 is a safety venous cannula with an integrated membrane to reduce blood leakage.
- Passive safety mechanism: prevents needle stick injuries without user intervention
- Stabilisation platform: increases catheter stability and facilitates fixation
- Integrated septum with multiple functions: controllable blood withdrawal - from insertion to removal of the access
- Rapid blood reflux in the catheter to confirm successful puncture
- Catheter material: polyurethane (PUR) and FEP (G20, e.g. for arterial pressure measurement)
- Suitable for high-pressure injections up to 325 psi (14 to 24 G catheters)
- Not manufactured with latex, PVC or DEHP
- ISO standard 10.555-1/5
