The HeartSave Y is a so-called semi-automated defibrillator. As soon as the respective AED detects a heart rhythm requiring defibrillation in the patient, the shock is delivered at the push of a button by the first aider.
- monolingual voice-controlled user guidance, adult/paediatric mode
- incl. 1 pair of electrodes for adults/children and 1 emergency kit (shaver, ventilation cloth, gloves, scissors)
- automatic activation of the AED when the device cover is opened for the fastest possible operation
- battery life: 4-5 years / 150 shocks
- Pre-connected electrodes for the fastest possible treatment of the person concerned (durability of electrodes: 4-5 years)
- Child mode at the push of a button - so no special paediatric electrodes are required in an emergency
- Metronome for correct pressure frequency during cardiac pressure massage to support the user
- Automatic adjustment of the energy output to each patient with escalating energy output up to 360 J in case of multiple defibrillation
