The HITADokkult II test is a rapid visual immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of human hemoglobin in stool samples (fecal occult blood). It serves as a diagnostic aid for the detection of intestinal haemorrhages caused, for example. The test is intended exclusively for professional use in the field of in vitro diagnostics. The test provides more accurate and reliable results than classic guaiac tests. The detection limit of the test is 40 ng hemoglobin / ml in stool sample eluate. This corresponds to a hemoglobin content of approximately 2 µg hemoglobin / g stool.
