GEMINI Single Sterilisation Wipes are designed for packaging medical devices to be sterilised.
Recommended sterilisation methods:
- Pre-vacuum steam sterilisation (134°C for 3–18 minutes)
- Gravity steam sterilisation (121°C for 15–30 minutes)
- Ethylene oxide (ETO) sterilisation (exposure time of 60 minutes at 725 mg/L of pure 100% ETO at 55°C and 40%–80% relative humidity, followed by a ventilation period of 12 hours)
- Advanced Sterilization Products STERRAD® sterilisation system (STERRAD® 50, 100S and 200S, STERRAD® NX™ (Standard Cycle, Advanced Cycle), STERRAD® 100NX™ (Standard Cycle, Flex Cycle, EXPRESS Cycle, DUO Cycle))
- STERIS V-PRO® low-temperature sterilisation systems (STERIS V-PRO® 60 (lumen, non-lumen and flexible cycle), STERIS V-PRO® 1 (lumen cycle), STERIS V-PRO® 1 Plus (lumen and non-lumen cycle), STERIS V-PRO® maX (Lumen, Non-Lumen and Flexible Cycle))
- pre-set STERIZONE® VP4 sterilisation cycle
GEMINI Single sterilisation drape is suitable for the sterilisation of the products wrapped within it and ensures sterility in a controlled environment for the following periods:
- Pre-vacuum and gravity methods: 2 years
- Ethylene oxide (ETO): 365 days
- STERRAD® 50, 100S, 200S, NX™ and 100NX™ cycles: 1 year
- STERIS V-PRO® 1, 1Plus, maX and 60: 1 year
- STERIZONE® VP4: 1 year
These products can be used for sequential packaging techniques with diagonal or parallel packaging methods
