The DermLite® is a dermatoscope designed to visualise both pigmented and vascular structures.
The dermatoscope is made of aluminium and features a 25 mm four-element lens, 28 high-performance LEDs and PigmentBoost® illumination. For optimum user-friendliness, a quick tap on the power button instantly switches between polarisation modes, whilst the optional PigmentBoost mode produces a warmer illumination reminiscent of conventional dermatoscopes.
The DermLite DL3N’s practical retractable contact lens, complete with a focusing mechanism, allows for quick switching between non-contact and skin-contact dermatoscopy and enables precise image focusing. The contact lens features a 10 mm scale, and thanks to its fully enclosed design, neither contaminants nor unwanted ambient light affect the image. An eyepiece is included to reduce reflections and improve image contrast.
The DermLite DL3N enables the creation of a digital dermatoscopy system by connecting compatible cameras or smartphones. Simply attach it to your smartphone using the MCC™ universal smartphone adapter.
