The DermLite® DL100 is a polarised handheld dermatoscope. It enables detailed visualisation of skin lesion structures – without the need for an immersion fluid – using a device that fits in any pocket. Through the use of LED technology for bright, white, natural illumination, an excellent 10x objective lens and the DermLite-specific cross-polarisation technology, the DL100 provides a clear and deep view of lesions for early detection. Thanks to its distinctive polarisation technology and the elimination of a glass contact plate, vascular patterns are more clearly visible than with contact dermatoscopy. The DL100 handheld dermatoscope offers a wide range of applications. For example, the examination of pigmented and vascular lesions, hair, and inflammatory and infectious lesions. Thanks to the energy-efficient LEDs and the long-lasting lithium battery, 1,200 lesion examinations can be performed per battery.
