Die Wanne wird mit einem schützenden SCOPE:COVER bestückt, das zur Unterscheidung von desinfizierten und kontaminierten Endoskopen aus einem grünen Folienbeutel und einem roten Folienteil besteht. Der grüne Folienbeutel des Covers ist deutlich mit “CLEAN“ markiert, der rote - mit “CONTAMINATED“ markierte Folienteil - ist darunter verstaut. Nachdem das aufbereitete Endoskop in die Wanne eingelegt ist, wird diese mit dem grünen Folienbeutel überzogen. Ein benutztesEndoskop wird in den grünen Folienbeutel gesteckt, der in der Wanne liegt. Anschließend wird der rote Folienteil über den grünen Folienbeutel in der Wanne gezogen, die dann sicher im Transportfach verstaut wird.
