Product information "AMBU disposable manometer"
The Ambu® Single Patient Use Manometer is intended for monitoring the patient's airway pressure. It is suitable for use with Ambu® bag breathing circuits or other bag breathing circuits, hyperinflation bags, CPAP masks or breathing circuits. The Ambu® disposable manometer gives you more safety and control when ventilating children. Especially in neonatology, ventilation with excessive pressures can lead to damage to the sensitive lung tissue. The disposable manometer for measuring the ventilation pressure during ventilation was developed in order to be able to respond even better to the respiratory physiological characteristics of these small patients. It is handy, hygienically safe and offers optimum visualisation of the ventilation pressure thanks to the colour coding. The Ambu® disposable manometer is MR-safe to a limited extent and can therefore be used in MR environments under the following conditions:
- Static magnetic field of 7 Tesla and less, with:
- Maximum spatial field gradient of 20,000 G/cm (200 T/m)
- Maximum force product of 902,000,000 G²/cm (902 T²/m)
Use within the MRI aperture may affect the MR image quality.
