The AMBU Mark IV Baby is the smaller version of the Mark IV and is specially designed to meet the needs of the youngest patients. The dual-chamber design (inner body with an elastic outer shell) allows the user to feel the ventilation pressure, making ventilation safer. Alternatively, the maximum ventilation pressure can now also be limited to 40 cm H2O via the pressure relief valve. As it was developed in parallel with the Mark IV, the Mark IV Baby has the same PEEP valve connection, meaning that only one PEEP valve is required for both bags. In addition, the Mark IV Baby now also features an integrated pressure gauge connection. The resuscitation bag is latex-free.
