The loban™ 2 antimicrobial incision film contains an iodophore that continuously releases its effect during the procedure. The antimicrobial-coated incision film offers both physical and chemical protection against bacterial contamination. As a component of the adhesive, this product continuously releases iodophor onto the skin surface, even during time-intensive operations. The use of this film is generally recommended for all operations. However, it is particularly important for orthopaedic, cardiovascular and neurosurgical procedures.
