The 3M™ PICC/CVC Fixation Plate + Tegaderm™ CHG Chlorhexidine Gluconate I.V. Fixation Dressing is a fixation system for sutureless fixation of PICC line and temporary central venous catheters (CVCs) that also provides antimicrobial protection without compromising the patient's comfort. It includes an Adhesive Stabilisation Device (ASD) and an antimicrobial chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) I.V. fixation dressing. This is the only CHG transparent dressing that has been proven to reduce catheter-related bloodstream infections (CRBSI) and catheter colonisation at vascular access sites and is aligned with evidence-based guidelines and practice standards.
