This suture trainer allows practicing surgical sutures again and again. The suturing resistance of the artificial skin is almost like the real skin. Different skin suture techniques can be practiced (single interrupted suture, vertical mattress suture and intracutaneous suture). The material is very robust and guarantees a long term use. Due to this the costs per students are very low at highest possible training quality. Including jig with suction cups. This trainer was developed in co-operation with Dr. Sarah Koenig, associate professor, surgical skills lab, dept. for general and visceral surgery, University Medicine Goettingen.
