The TVAC suction pump provides quick and easy assistance in cases of upper airway obstruction caused by foreign bodies and liquids.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is a combination of chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. In some cases, even after hyperextending the neck and clearing the mouth, ventilation is not possible because blood, stomach contents or other fluids are blocking the upper airways. The unconscious patient is unable to cough up the accumulated fluid. With the TVAC, fluids and small foreign bodies (thanks to an opening width of 9.5 mm) can be quickly suctioned out of the throat and upper windpipe. This clears the airway and allows resuscitation to begin.The disposable suction system consists of a bulb-shaped pump, a suction tube and a collection bag. Excess fluid is efficiently sucked out of the bag and, after use, everything can be safely stored in the transport bag and disposed of in accordance with regulations.
